Brainspotting Intensives

Brainspotting is an effective brain and body-based treatment modality that allows people to do deep work fast. It allows people to gain helpful insights, make new connections, work through difficult emotions, and work through difficult experiences.

Brainspotting Intensives are a powerful way to heal more quickly and deeply, offering the “biggest bang for your buck,” in therapy than during a typical therapy session. While typically you would attend therapy once per week for roughly 45-50 minutes at a time over the course of months, with an intensive experience we have longer sessions over a shorter amount of time. This format can help increase the power of Brainspotting to heal deeper and quicker.

Therapy and Brainspotting sometimes mean looking at difficult topics and experiences. While we’re not always motivated to look at the “hard stuff,” some people prefer to “just get it done.” For some people, 1-2 days of hard work is more attractive than doing smaller weekly doses of Brainspotting therapy. There’s no right or wrong here. It’s just a matter of preference and your availability to do the work.

Brainspotting Intensive are great for people who are low on time, but serious about getting some therapeutic work done, so they can feel better as soon as possible! Intensives are great for people who don’t want to attend weekly therapy sessions, because they want fast results! Of course, you can do an intensive while still working with a talk therapist.

Important to note: Finding an experienced Brainspotting therapist can be a challenge. It can be an even bigger challenge to find a Brainspotting Intensive. You won’t find Brainspotting Intensives everywhere!
