My expertise includes therapy with individuals who have experienced trauma, especially related to first responder and military work, extreme sports, injuries, disabilities, and chronic health challenges.

When we encounter extreme stressors, our minds and bodies go into survival modes. This can cause immediate and lingering reactions that impact our functioning, including our work, relationships, and overall well being. We can feel stuck in symptoms such as anxiety, depression, intrusive thoughts, reliving experiences, and feeling disconnected.

I’m here to help you move past stuck points! I provide a client-centered, trauma-informed approach when working with clients and primarily offer somatic psychotherapy with a neuroscience foundation to promote nervous system regulation. I integrate modalities like DBT, CBT, and CPT, as well as interventions like Brainspotting, mindfulness, breathwork, and movement. Therapy can help with processing, integrating, and resourcing so you have tools for resilience.

I have extensive training in somatic psychology and am certified in Brainspotting, a neurobiological tool used in therapy to help process and release adverse experiences. My approach to therapy is holistic, person-centered, trauma-informed and collaborative. I use a strengths-based perspective to help facilitate the process of self-discovery and strive to foster a brave, non-judgmental place that focuses on your goals and needs.

My background consists of over 10 years in law enforcement and extensive work in crisis and trauma with diverse populations. Additionally, I work closely with First Responder Support Network and am a certified yoga instructor, including specialization in yoga for first responders and military.
