How to Appy for Advance Care Credit

Applying is simple, and most clients receive a decision quickly.

Application Guide

1. Visit the Application Website
   Go to: Advance Care Credit | www.advancecarecard.com

2. Click “Apply”
   This will begin the secure application process.

3. Select Your Credit Type
   You’ll be asked to choose the option that best fits your situation:

   • Excellent; Good; Fair

4. Complete the Application

   • If you select Excellent or Good, you’ll complete the full Advance Care Credit application.

   • Most clients receive an approval or denial the same day.

5. If You’re Approved

   • You’ll receive a confirmation notice.

   • Your Advance Care Credit card will arrive by mail within 5–7 business days.

   • Once your card arrives, you may use it to pay for services with Second Wind Professional Clinical Counselor, Inc.

6. If You Select “Fair” Credit

   • You’ll be gently redirected to My Medical Funding, which offers a medical loan option.

   • This option is not interest-free.

What to Expect

• Advance Care Credit eligibility:

  • Typically requires a credit score of 670 or higher

• Interest-free period:

  • 15 months interest-free for most approved clients

  • 6 months interest-free for college students

• Card acceptance:

  • Accepted anywhere Discover cards are accepted

• If you’re not approved:

  • You’ll receive a written explanation within 5–7 business days

Why offer financing for intensives?

• We believe financial barriers shouldn’t stand in the way of meaningful care. Financing allows many clients to move forward with intensives sooner and with less financial stress.

 

How long does approval take?

• In most cases, approval or denial is provided the same day you apply.

 

When will my card arrive?

• If approved, your Advance Care Credit card typically arrives within 5–7 business days.

 

What if I don’t qualify for Advance Care Credit?

• Clients with a credit score of 580 or higher, or those who select “Fair” credit, will be guided to My Medical Funding, a medical loan option.

Is My Medical Funding interest-free?

• No. Loans through My Medical Funding do include interest, and terms vary by approval.

Will I receive a card with My Medical Funding?

• No physical card is mailed. Funds are deposited directly into your bank account for you to use toward services.

Can I use Advance Care Credit for other providers?

• Yes. After your first charge with Second Wind Professional Clinical Counselor, Inc., the card may be used with other medical providers that accept Discover.​​
