At Second Wind Counseling, Clinicians have the opportunity to integrate innovative therapies, such as EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and Brainspotting, into their practice to enhance the healing process.
This is an excellent opportunity for clinicians who are looking to work with their ideal client in a part time private practice capacity, but do not wish to deal with all of the business sides of a private practice or do not wish to take the risk of setting up their own office.
Second Wind Counseling currently offers therapy services in-person and via telehealth. Our office is located in Vacaville, close to Travis Air Force Base so experience and a strong interest in working with Military and/or Spouses is ideal! Additionally, many of our clinicians are "Approved Non-Network Providers" with Tricare and able to support our military clients, and families, in getting partial to full reimbursement for services.
Clinical supervision is provided to all associates, and consultations are offered to all clinicians.

Required Qualifications and Certifications/Skills Sets:

Seeking LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW, APCC, AMFT, or ACSW interested in growing in private practice
-
All Applicants (Licensed or Associate Level Clinicians) MUST have completed training in either EMDR or at least Brainspotting Phase 1 prior to start date.

Associates must have obtained their BBS Registration Number and be in good standing with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences
-
Motivated Individual with a take initiative approach who understands the work that goes into being successful in a private practice setting

Organized with good time management skills
Preferred Qualifications and Certifications/Skills Sets:

Interest in gaining further experience and training in EMDR, Brainspotting, or other Trauma Focused Practices or Internal Family Systems.

Experience in or interest in working with adults and teens, trauma, eating disorders, fertility challenges, postpartum depression, athletes and sports performance, or first responders/military
-
Seeking LPCC, LMFT or LCSW experienced and interested in working with our TRICARE Clients to see Military clients and Spouses

Currently looking to fill the following clinical positions with either an Associate or Licensed Clinician.

Weekend Clinician:
-
Part-time Weekend Position Available (Preferably Licensed LPCC or LCSW): Must be willing to work a full day in office on Sundays (5 -7 clients). In Addition, this clinician will be able to see more clients via telehealth on other days and set own schedule, but will be required to work in-person on Sundays at our Vacaville Location. Appointments may be filled with private pay clients or insurance based clients.

Compensation:
This position is paid hourly with a bonus structure. The pay range and bonus structure for team members ranges based on clinical experience, case load size, licensure status, if clinician is seeing private pay clients or insurance based clients, performance evaluations, and time employed with the practice. Other benefits include: 1-2 paid hours of admin time each week, paid time for clinical supervision, sick leave and support in professional development.

PRIVATE PAY REVENUE BONUS: The following bonus split percentages apply to revenue received for Individual Therapy Sessions performed by Associate/Licensed Clinicians paid for directly by the patient or other non-insurance provider

Caseload of 1 - 4 appointments per week: Up to 30/70 Split, minus hourly wages paid

Caseload of 5 - 12 appointments per week: Up to 40/60 Split, minus hourly wages paid

Caseload of 13 + appointments per week: Up to 50/50 Split, minus hourly wages paid

Caseload of 1 - 4 appointments per week: Up to 50/50 Split, minus hourly wages paid

Associate Clinician performs 18 Individual Therapy Sessions during a two-week pay period that generated $2,322 in revenue for the Company. Clinician receives $360.00 in wages (18 hours * $20.00). At the 40% bonus percentage split, the total bonus paid to the Associate Clinician would be $568.80 ($2,322 (revenue generated)* 40% (percentage) - $360.00 (hourly wages paid). Associate Clinician receives $928.80.

Licensed Clinician performs 18 Individual Therapy Sessions during a two-week pay period that generated $3,042 in revenue for the Company. Clinician receives $360.00 in wages (18 hours * $20.00). At the 65% bonus percentage split, the total bonus paid to the Associate Clinician would be $1,617.30 ($3,042 (revenue generated)* 65% (percentage) - $360.00 (hourly wages paid). Licensed Clinician receives $1,977.30.

The flat rate bonus shall be paid in addition to Clinician’s hourly wage.
