About

“Living a life of daring greatly means cultivating the courage to be vulnerable, to set boundaries, and to let ourselves be seen.” - Brene Brown

~

Welcome! I'm so glad you're here!

Taking the first step toward healing can be challenging, especially for first responders, and I truly understand that. As a retired firefighter and paramedic with 30 years of experience, I know firsthand the unique stressors and challenges that come with this profession. Having also served as an arson investigator, peer support member, paramedic preceptor, and drill instructor, I’ve seen the toll our work can take on both ourselves and our families.

Whether you're grappling with the aftermath of a particularly difficult call or just feeling a general sense of discontent, or noticing you are having trouble connecting with your significant other or kids, I’m here to walk alongside you on your journey toward healing. I am deeply passionate about supporting the first responder community and creating a safe, non-judgmental space where you can resolve hurdles and find practical strategies to manage your challenges.

Life is complex, and so are you! I approach therapy with proven, adaptive techniques that are tailored to your unique needs. With a holistic perspective, I’m here to guide you through the complexities of trauma and stress within the first responder, athletic, and LGBTQ+ communities. I am certified in Brainspotting, a neuroscience-based method which helps you process stuck points with as much or as little "talk" as you choose to engage in. I also use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness techniques designed to empower you to rediscover your inner strength and develop healthier coping mechanisms. Therapy does not have to be a lifelong commitment.

Midtown Sacramento Therapy

Discover the Strength that is already within you!

In addition to my experience as a first responder, I’ve also competed as an international athlete. Have you ever felt frustrated or stuck at a certain point in your sport, unsure of why you can’t seem to break through? In our work together, we’ll begin by identifying what’s holding you back and, more importantly, how to move forward. Working together, we can effectively address those barriers and help you reach your full potential.

Here, you don't have to explain the job to be Understood.

We'll Hold Space for the weight behind the uniform — and Support Your Healing Forward!
