About

For those who have spent years carrying the weight of the job—often quietly and without pause—this is a space where you don’t have to hold it alone.

~

If you’ve found your way here, you may already be carrying a lot. I’m glad you’re here, and I hope we have the chance to connect.

As a therapist specializing in individual and couples counseling for first responders, military service members, and their spouses and children, my goal in therapy is to create a supportive space where clients can slow down, talk openly about what they’ve been carrying, and begin to process those experiences. I have a strong interest in working with individuals who are navigating trauma and the long-term effects of chronic stress. Together, we focus on building practical tools that support healing, resilience, and a renewed sense of balance.

Before becoming a therapist, I spent more than 28 years working in law enforcement. That experience gave me firsthand insight into high-stress environments, critical incidents, and the cumulative impact that demanding careers can have over time. It also deepened my respect for the resilience required in these professions and the importance of prioritizing mental health and support.

My approach is client-centered, collaborative, and grounded in practical strategies that clients can use in everyday life. I draw from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and cognitive restructuring to help clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I also incorporate somatic and regulation-based techniques that help clients reconnect with their body’s natural ability to regulate and recover from stress.

Many of the people I work with come to therapy feeling exhausted, disconnected, or stuck in patterns that once helped them survive the demands of the job but no longer serve them in life outside of work. Together, we work to build awareness, strengthen resilience, and reconnect with parts of themselves that may have been pushed aside along the way.

Seeking support can feel unfamiliar, especially in professions that reward pushing through—but it can also be the first step toward creating more balance, clarity, and well-being.
