About
“Living a life of daring greatly means cultivating the courage to be vulnerable, to set boundaries, and to let ourselves be seen.” - Brene Brown
Reaching out for support can feel like one of the hardest steps, especially when you've spent years being the one others depend on. Whether you're carrying the weight of traumatic experiences, struggling with anxiety, feeling disconnected from yourself or your relationships, or simply finding that life has become harder to navigate than it once was, you do not have to figure it out alone.
As a former paramedic and the spouse of a firefighter, I understand firsthand the unique pressures that come with emergency services and public safety careers. I have seen how repeated exposure to stress, trauma, and responsibility can shape the way we think, feel, connect with others, and move through the world. I also understand that the impact of these careers extends beyond the individual, often affecting marriages, families, and the people we care about most.
My passion is helping people get back to life. Not by pretending difficult experiences never happened, but by helping you process what has been carried for far too long, reconnect with yourself, and move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and purpose.
I work with adults and couples through a trauma-informed, relational approach that is deeply rooted in person-centered and psychodynamic therapy. I believe that healing occurs within a safe and authentic therapeutic relationship where you feel seen, understood, and accepted without judgment. Together, we will explore the patterns, experiences, and beliefs that may be keeping you stuck while building greater awareness, resilience, and connection.
In addition to traditional talk therapy, I am trained in Brainspotting, a powerful brain-body approach that helps access and process experiences that may be difficult to fully resolve through words alone. Brainspotting can be especially effective for trauma, anxiety, performance challenges, relationship concerns, and the lingering effects of stressful or overwhelming experiences.
I am particularly passionate about supporting first responders, military members, and the spouses and significant others who stand beside them. I also welcome individuals who may be hesitant about therapy, have had disappointing experiences in the past, or simply aren't sure where to begin. My goal is to create a space where you can show up exactly as you are and know that you do not have to explain the culture, the job, or the weight you've been carrying to be understood.
Healing is not about becoming someone different. It's about reconnecting with the parts of yourself that may have been buried beneath stress, survival, and responsibility.
Whether you're seeking support for trauma, anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, or simply want to feel more like yourself again, I would be honored to walk alongside you in the process.
Recovery is possible. Growth is possible. And you do not have to do it alone.
This is a Space where you can be Fully Unapologetically you.
